About JAMS

It’s the New JAMS. Kinda.

Welcome to the new JAMS. Well, not exactly “new,” but newly organized. We are now operating as an independent company. In June of 2025, we separated from our friends at Fortra, and established JAMS Software, a company owned by two very cool growth equity firms and our employees. But we’re still developing the same JAMS Scheduler that was released in 1987.

What makes us different? We want to be here. In fact, many of us have been with JAMS since its earliest years as part of MVP Systems Software. We love IT orchestration. It’s helped us build a strong business and we want to help you do the same (even if you inherited systems and workflows from someone else).

So, what’s next? We’re continuously adapting JAMS to orchestrate as many processes as we can. They are legion, and we prioritize them according to customer demand. Sure, there are scripts that can give you greater control over a particular process, but our goal is always to offer an elegant integration that provides all the benefits of a JAMS job.
