Often, a mail service will try to protect you from unwanted emails. When they get overzealous, you miss the information you need. We’ve included some step by step instructions for popular mail clients and spam filters you might be using. If you don’t see your client or filter on this list, or if you’re uncomfortable changing these settings yourself, send this page and your request to your Mail Administrator.

Mail Clients

Outlook 2010 / Outlook 2013
  1. In the Home tab, click on the Junk Dropdown and select Junk E-Mail Options
  2. In the Junk Email Options Dialogue, click on the Safe Senders tab.
  3. Click Add, then type in @jamsscheduler.com and click OK. The jamsscheduler domain is now whitelisted for you.
  4. Repeat Step 3 for the @mvpsi.com domain to ensure you get all the relevant mailings from JAMS
  1. Click the Spam Controls link on the lower right side of your inbox screen.
  2. When the “Mail & Spam Controls” box appears, click the Custom sender list link.
  3. Choose the allow email from option.
  4. Add @jamsscheduler.com then click Add
  5. Click Save
  1. Open an email message from @jamsscheduler.com to add to your address book.
  2. Click on the Save Address link next to the “From Address”.
  3. Check the Add to Contacts box and click Save.
  1. Click Preferences from the menu
  2. Click Restrict Incoming Email
  3. Click Yes to Enable Email Controls
  4. Click Allow email from addresses listed below
  5. Enter @jamsscheduler.com
  6. Click Add
  7. Click Update to finish

Address Book Inclusion

  1. Open an email from us.
  2. Click Add to Address Book in the email header.
  3. Use the Address Book Editor to verify our contact details and click save.
  4. Fill in @jamsscheduler.com as the email address of the sender.
  5. Mail sent from our domain will now be delivered to your Inbox.
  1. Click on the Settings Button (The cog wheel in the upper right hand corner)
  2. Select Settings From the dropdown list
  3. Select Filters and Blocked Addresses from the Settings Page
  4. Click on Create a new filter
  5. Enter @jamsscheduler.com in the From field, then click Create filter with this search
  6. In the Filter Options, check the Never send it to Spam box, then click Create Filter
  7. Repeat this process for the @mvpsi.com domain.
Hotmail Live, Windows Live and MSN
  1. Click Options in the upper right corner of your Hotmail screen
  2. In the Body of the page under “Junk e-mail” click Safe and blocked senders
  3. Click the link Safe senders
  4. Enter @jamsscheduler.com
  5. Click Add to list
Mac Mail
  1. Click Address Book
  2. Click File
  3. Click New Card
  4. Enter @jamsscheduler.com and additional information if you wish
  5. Click Edit to finish
Mozilla Thunderbird
  1. Click the Address Book button
  2. Make sure the Personal Address Book is highlighted
  3. Click the New Card button. This will launch a New Card window that has 3 tabs: Contact, Address and Other
  4. Under the Contact tab, copy and paste @jamsscheduler.com into the email dialogue box
  5. Click OK
Outlook 2003
  1. Open an e-mail you have received from @jamsscheduler.com
  2. Right click Click here to download images in the gray bar at the top of the message
  3. Click Add Sender to Safe Senders list to finish
Outlook 2007
  1. Right click on any e-mail you have received from @jamsscheduler.com
  2. Click Junk E-mail
  3. Click Add Sender to Safe Senders list to finish
  1. Click the cog icon in the top right corner, and then select Options
  2. Select Safe Senders on the shortcuts navigation, located in the Junk Email section of Mail.
  3. Type jamsschdeuler.com into the box and click the Add button.
  4. Type mvpsi.com into the box and click the Add button.
  5. Save the safe senders list
Yahoo! Mail
  1. Click Options in the top right navigation bar
  2. Select Mail Options from the list that drops down
  3. Choose Filters located on the left side of the page
  4. Click the Add button on the Filters page
  5. Set criteria: “from” “contains” @jamsscheduler.com
  6. Choose the destination folder to which you would like the message delivered

Spam Filters

Barracuda Networks
  1. Open your web browser. Navigate to your company’s Barracuda firewall homepage.
  2. Click on the Block/Accept tab.
  3. Choose Sender Domain Block/Accept.
  4. Enter the domain name @jamsscheduler.com. You may enter a comment to remind you why you need to receive our emails.
  5. Click Add.
  1. Open ChoiceMail
  2. Click on the Senders tab
  3. Choose Approve another Sender
  4. Type in @jamsscheduler.com
  5. Click on OK
Cloudmark SpamNet
  1. Select Cloudmark Options from the Cloudmark SpamNet toolbar in Outlook.
  2. Click Advanced.
  3. Go to the Whitelist tab.
  4. Click the Add button.
  5. Type: @jamsscheduler.com
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Click Yes.
  9. Click OK.
  1. Click the Addresses tab.
  2. Click New.
  3. Type: @jamsscheduler.com
  4. Make sure Accept Mail From This Address is selected under Receiving Options.
  5. Uncheck Display in People Picker under Other options.
  6. Click Submit.
  7. Click OK.

  2. Click Add.

  4. Click OK.
  1. Click Tools, then Blacklist & Friends.
  2. Click Add on the right, the Friends list side.
  3. Make sure Plain email address is selected.

  5. Click OK.

McAfee Spamkiller
  1. Select Friends from the McAfee SpamKiller sidebar.
  2. Click Add a friend.
  3. Make sure All users at a domain is selected under Friend type:
  4. Type @jamsscheduler.com in Address:
  5. Optionally, enter our contact details to help you recognize our domain under Name:
  6. Click OK.
Norton AntiSpam
  1. Start up Norton AntiSpam
  2. Click the Status & Settings tab
  3. Click AntiSpam
  4. Click Configure
  5. Click Allowed List tab
  6. Click Add button
  7. In the Email Address box, enter @jamsscheduler.com
  8. Click OK
  1. Open your Probably Spam folder.
  2. Select an Email from @jamsscheduler.com
  3. Click the Move to Inbox and Mark as Not Spam button.
Spam Inspector
  1. Select Spam Inspector.
  2. Select Manage Friends List from either the Spam Inspector toolbar or from the Outlook menu.
  3. Make sure Email is selected under Add a New Friend.
  4. Type: @jamsscheduler.com
  5. Click the >> button.
  6. Click Close.
Spam Interceptor
  1. Follow the Trusted link under Authentication Lists.
  2. Enter: @jamsscheduler.com
  3. Click Add.
Spam Sleuth
  1. Select File, then Configure.
  2. Go to the Friends category.
  3. Make sure Active is checked.
  4. Type: @jamsscheduler.com on a line by itself in the entry field.
  5. Click OK.
  1. Add the following entry to your user_prefs file, which is found in the .spamassassin subdirectory on your web/mail server:
    whitelist_from @jamsscheduler.com
  2. Save the user_prefs file or move the updated copy to your .spamassassin subdirectory.
  1. Click the Configure button.
  2. Go to the Known Senders tab.
  3. Click Add under Known Good Senders and Recipients.
  4. Type: @jamsscheduler.com
  5. Click OK.

  2. Click More in the SPAMfighter Toolbar and select Whitelist.
  3. Here, choose to whitelist the @jamsscheduler.com domain.
Spameater Pro
  1. Click Filters from the sidebar.
  2. Click the Approved Senders tab.
  3. Click Add Filter.
  4. Type: @jamsscheduler.com under Address.
  5. Choose Full Email Address under Address Type.
  6. Select Email Domain.
  7. Click OK.
  1. Click on the SpamPal system tray icon with the right mouse button.
  2. Click Add to Whitelist from the menu.
  3. Type: @jamsscheduler.com
  4. Click Add.
Trend Micro
  1. Open Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express.
  2. Click the Spam Mail folder then select an email from @jamsscheduler.com
  3. Click Approve Sender on the toolbar.
  4. Click Yes when the confirmation message appears.
