JAMS V6.5 enhances continuous delivery and digital transformation with the addition of information-rich monitoring interfaces and robust file transfer capabilities.

JAMS V6.5 Monitor 30 November 2016 – MVP Systems Software, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise job scheduling and workload automation software, announced today the general release of JAMS V6.5. The latest version of JAMS continues to establish a standard for workload automation that is aligned with both the needs of IT operations and the requirements of the business. With the release of JAMS V6.5, MVP has modernized the overall interface, extended managed file transfer capabilities, and added more than a dozen enhancements requested by its growing user base.

The newly designed JAMS Monitor dynamically highlights each job according to its current status, enabling users to focus quickly on jobs that require immediate attention. Even among thousands of processes, users can identify and address issues that could potentially impact the centralized schedule of critical batch processes.

“The volume and velocity of jobs that customers manage in JAMS demands a very responsive monitoring interface,” says David Kluskiewicz, VP, Marketing. “The revamped monitor in JAMS V6.5 provides users with a comprehensive view of the enterprise’s overall schedule, while simultaneously highlighting the real-time status of individual jobs. The redesigned monitor extracts actionable information from the schedule and brings order to even the most complex schedule of batch processes.”

JAMS V6.5 introduces several custom skins that help users differentiate the environment (e.g. Dev, QA, Prod) on which they’re currently working.

The solution’s File Transfer Execution Method now consolidates many common file transfer tasks into a single, easy-to-manage process. By leveraging JAMS, enterprises can integrate zip, unzip, encrypt, and decrypt all within a file transfer job’s properties.

JAMS V6.5 also features improved support for JD Edwards, Banner, PeopleSoft and HDInsight.

These features and more are available in the free JAMS 30-day trial, available at www.jamsscheduler.com/.
