04 Mar 2010 – MVP Systems Software, Inc., a leader in enterprise job scheduling and workload automation, announced today that it has acquired privately held Saranac Technology Group (STG) of New York. Founded in 2007 with offices in the US and Canada, STG is a leading reseller of virtualization and automation solutions.

“As we look to rapidly expand our customer base and footprint, acquiring our partners is a logical approach,” states Bill Harris of MVP. “STG has been a great partner for the past 3 years and we welcome all of their employees and customers to MVP.”

“It’s an exciting time for us. As the economic climate improves, we want to leverage the resources of a larger organization and MVP is a perfect fit,” stated Rich Patrie of STG. “We are excited about combining our knowledge and resources with MVP’s dedicated staff.”

Because STG was a member of the MVP Systems Software Partner Program, STG clients were easily integrated into MVP’s direct customer base. STG customers now access sales and support resources directly through MVP Systems Software at 866 259 JAMS (5267) or online at www.JAMSSupport.com.

Under the terms of the deal, MVP Systems Software, Inc. will retain all STG employees in their current roles. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
