Linux Ready is part of the Oracle Exastack Ready program which allows partners, such as MVP Systems Software, to be recognized by Oracle for developing, testing and tuning their applications on the latest component products of Oracle Exadata Database Machine or Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud engineered systems. Oracle VM 3.0, the latest release of Oracle’s x86 server virtualization solution, is suitable for datacenter workloads, enabling companies to move beyond server consolidation and to focus on accelerating and simplifying application deployment and management. Oracle Linux, with its default Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel, brings the latest Linux innovations to market, delivering extreme performance, advanced scalability, and reliability for enterprise applications, at a lower cost.
The Oracle Exastack Ready program recognizes MVP Systems Software as having applications that leverage the latest Oracle technology to better support joint customers. MVP Systems Software is committed to providing integration between enterprise job scheduling and applications running on Oracle VM 3.0 and Oracle Linux.
With Oracle VM Ready and Oracle Linux Ready status, MVP Systems Software can highlight its solutions that have undergone relevant testing and support these platforms by displaying the corresponding Oracle logos and promoting the benefits of leveraging both Oracle VM 3.0 and Oracle Linux.
“When MVP Systems Software aligns their development teams with the latest component products available to Oracle VM 3.0 and Oracle Linux customers, they benefit from a complete and rigorous set of standards that drive quality and innovation,” said MVP developer Eli McDermott. “Achieving Oracle Linux Ready and Oracle VM Ready status validates our commitment to all our customers who depend on Oracle products.”
“The Oracle Exastack Ready program enables partners to deploy their applications with a comprehensive integrated and cloud-ready infrastructure that will help them accelerate innovation, unlock new features and functionality, and deliver faster, more reliable solutions,” said Kevin O’Brien, senior director, ISV and SaaS Strategy, Oracle. “By achieving Oracle VM Ready and Oracle Linux Ready status, MVP Systems has established a foundation for their application to efficiently run on and leverage the latest features in Oracle VM 3.0 and Oracle Linux to deliver superior value to customers.”
